The games people play

In this game of life* we scrabble* to find meaning, trying to connect 4* love without others intervening.
And oh the games we play.
When you dont know who you are you become anyone and things go left when you dont act right. So check your intention before you spin the wheel of fortune* coz Karma comes hard when you dont play by the rules*
Dont even know your own values but your always trying to chequers* things get confusing when black and white turn grey, when people start to stray.
You took that chip* off your shoulder and gambled* with a life. Held your cards* so close to your chess* you didnt see you had the royal hand*. So you traded your queen* for a 2 and now you look like a joker* trying to provoke her with all these charades*. See Queens* aren't suited for the fools* of the pack.
Tried to twister* words but you got caught with both hands on red* .Going back and forth by text with thumb wars* but I spy* those little lies.
Dont you know if you try to use snakes to climb
ladders* youll end up sliding back down even sadder and when you surround yourself with dirt dont be suprised when you end up stuck in the mud*.
So you distract yourself from feeling by using a trivial pursuit*. Trying to hide your emotions with your pokerface* but you drop a cludedo* when the mask slips. Funny when the coin flips*.
Could've won big* I mean you hit the jackpot. But when your not used to riches and addicted to playing you keep going till you lose and end up paying.
You were both creating 2 different pictures and ended up puzzled* when the pieces* didnt fit, there was something missing.
And now your sat reminiscing - on them netflix n chills ordering dominos*
Now your looking trying to guess who* theyre talking to.
Oh the frustration* pushing away that 1* that you really want to go home to.
You got to ask yourself are you really patterning up or just repeating the same patterns. Careful beacuse throwing away your morals to chase the cheese can leave you caught in a mouse trap.
Listen, the universe is telling you to to assess the risk* factors of your actions, pause hard, that's the meaning when you pull the hangman* card.
So all of these games, you need to put them back on a shelf because eventually youll realise the only person your playing is yourself.
