As we wave goodbye or more accurately put a middle finger up to 2016 we get the timeless 'New Year New Me' bulls*@! I can't help but roll my eyes. We make all these unrealistic new years resolutions and that's where they tend to stay.. in the New Year.
It's always a good time to reflect when the year ends and we should always aspire to better ourselves as each year passes. I'm all for setting goals and no I don't mean the shallow #GOALS crap you get on Instagram of seemingly loved up couples or the latest designer stuff/expensive cars. Real goals, real aspirations. Ask yourself where do I want to be, what kind of woman do I want to be. In a world so materialistic and image obsessed we can forget about the REAL things. Our character, our manners, personality and attitude. Maybe this year we should all dig a little deeper within ourselves.
Is there a bad habit you wish to change, an issue/fault you need to address within yourself. Write it down, keep it somewhere you will refer back to it keep reminding yourself what you are working towards. Don't give up, things won't change overnight or in a month just be patient, growth takes time..
