With the seasons changing and the stress of 2 kiddies, it's left my skin looking dry, dull and tired. In fact I've had relatives see me with no make up on and tell me I look absolutely shattered and ask me if I am ill, to which I reply 'Oh Yeah, I'm not feeling so great' and then mentally remind myself not to leave the house without any foundation!
Recently I decided to get my skin to the point where I feel like I can go out without foundation and not look like death warmed up. I've noticed a big difference with my skin already, so I thought I'd share with you the products I've been using to achieve hydrated, glowing skin <3
1. Cleaners/Face wash.
On days where I havn't worn much make up or its very light I use the Korres sensitive face wash. When I feel like my face needs a bit more of a scrub I use the lush Buche de Noel. This cleanser is AHHmazing. Its packed with ground almonds & kaolin which help gently buff the skin, Cranberries, cocoa butter and mandarin to hydrate and give you that gorgeous glow. It also has bits of gold leaf in it!
2. Toner.
I have started using the Pixi Glow Tonic which so far has been quite good.
Every other night after cleansing I use the Bare minerals skincare intensive glow pads. This might actually be my HG skincare product. Straight away from the first use I noticed a difference. After a week my skin was definitely more radiant and luminous.
3. Moisturisers.
I tend to go between Clinique moisture surge (I prefer to wear under makeup or when my skin is quite dry) and Korres Wild rose brightening cream. Clinique moisture surge overnight mask for when my skin is really dry otherwise I like to use good old Argan Oil in the evenings.
4. Eyes.
I use the same brands as my moisturisers. The clinique I tend to use more during the day before applying makeup and the Korres wild rose one in the evening.
5.Beauty Oils.
I love love love the Farsali rose gold beauty elixir. Its got a gorgeous citrus smell to it and contains gold flakes. I use this before my makeup (on days when I've got more time to prep my skin) and sometimes I add a drop to my beauty blender when applying my foundation.
Now I only really need a sheer coverage foundation with a pop of highlighter.
